Huila, Colombia

There are many theories as to how coffee first arrived in Colombia. The most widely accepted is that Dutch Jesuit missionaries brought it over in the 18th century, who planted the first crops in the mountainous northeast. Nowadays, Colombian coffee is world-famous for its flavour and unmistakable mild but rich aroma.

Huila is often a favourite coffee origin, thanks to its bright acidity, sweetness, and strong fruity profile. The fruity edge and lack of bitterness to Huila coffee distinguish it from other coffees from Colombia.
