Ethiopia’s history with coffee goes all the way back to the very beginning, as the first Arabica coffee plant was found there in the ninth century. According to legend, a goat herder took notice of the plant when he realised the energising effect it had on his herd.
Coffees from the Sidamo region have an exceptional character and unique cup profile that justify considering them as some of the best coffees in the world. The body of the coffee is floral, tea-like, and acidity is mild and pleasant.
